“Mile Away was a magical home with pristine decor and inviting taste. Our group enjoyed the relaxing environment, the quiet, and all the amenities this home provided! From sitting by the fireplace, to heated floors, heated towel racks, and trips to the hot tub you could call this home a vacation in itself and never have to leave. The host went above and beyond accommodating our needs, quickly answering questions and the house was super easy to find! While located on main road, noise was not an issue and we were within 10 minutes of all the main attractions and restaurants of Stowe we’d recommend! A peaceful quiet town and the most amazing house we have ever stayed in! Our group enjoyed every moment and would book here again in a heart beat! We wish this house was our home! So beautiful and truly a trip of a lifetime with a stay at Miles Away!”

“This home is absolutely stunning—spacious, luxurious, and thoughtfully designed (just like photos). Every bedroom has its own bathroom (a rare find!) and the beds are incredibly comfortable with cozy, high-quality linens. The house is fully stocked—two kitchens, towel warmers, heated floors, every toiletry and kitchen item you could need. The guest house is perfect for giving part of your group privacy while staying close. The covered patio with fireplace, games, and hot tub was a dream perfectly placed under twinkle lights for relaxing evenings. Every detail was intentional and beautifully done. It's peaceful and private, yet minutes from downtown Stowe, Smugglers' Notch, Bingham Falls, Gondola, skiing and more. We've stayed at many Airbnbs, and this was hands down the best. It truly felt like a luxury retreat and made our family trip unforgettable. We will absolutely be back. Amy was a fantastic host responsive, gracious, made sure everything was ready for our arrival.”

“We stayed at Mile Away to celebrate my kid's high school graduation and 18th birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. My partner and I stayed in the apartment over the garage, which gave us a peaceful place to unwind while my kids—including the newly minted 18-year-old—enjoyed the main house. The setup was ideal, giving everyone space while keeping us connected. The home was spotless, beautifully equipped, and full of thoughtful touches—from the fully stocked kitchen to the hot tub, games, grill, and a peaceful river right on the property. The fire pit was perfect for s'mores and late-night laughter. We were honored to be the very first guests and felt truly cared for. The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, responsive, and kind. We left rested, grateful, and already hoping to come back.”

“Our family had a truly memorable 5 night stay at One Mile Away to celebrate my 60th birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The home was spotless, cozy, beautifully furnished, and well laid out to accommodate our multi-generational group. The separate guest house over the garage was ideal for one of our children's families, giving them space and privacy while still being close. We loved the multiple areas to dine, relax, and even get a little work done when needed. Amy was so nice, communicative and accommodating....and even hand delivered plates and utensils for the babies! She really made our stay easy and it truly felt like a vacation! The location was great. Even though it wasn't walkable, we loved the home's privacy and peaceful backyard...and it was an easy and quick drive to everything! It was the perfect setting for quality time, laughter, and celebration - thank you for helping us make such special memories! We would love to come back in the future.”

Everything was thoughtfully arranged and very efficient, with a layout that made the space both practical and relaxing. Great attention to detail.
