We are able to host 8 guests in the main farmhouse, and 2+ guests in the barn guest house.

As much as we LOVE furry friends of all types, we DO NOT allow pets of any kind to stay at MileAway. We maintain exterior cameras on the property, so any attempt to sneak a pet in will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation.

YES! We designed the house for kids to enjoy. While the home is not outfitted for babies under two, we do have dedicated spaces for kiddos two and up to play, read, bathe and snuggle with their grownups. Teens will enjoy our music-themed bunk room with a vinyl record player, ample hang out space, and ensuite bathroom.

Yes, we have a large garage with ample space for all of your gear, in any season. Gear is not allowed in the house, so please keep all skis, boards, boots, poles, helmets, bikes, snowshoes, strollers and anything else you might use outside, in the garage area.

One of the great benefits of visiting Stowe, and Vermont in general, is that there is something to offer guests year-round. While folks think of snow sports in winter, the foliage of the fall often rivals all other seasons for most visitors and most spectacular sights. There are gorgeous ponds to swim in, trails to hike, maple sugar to taste test, and restaurants to sample in the spring and summer to create memories that will last a lifetime.
