We salvaged the original clawfoot tub in the farmhouse and refinished it for use in our spectacular second floor primary ensuite bath.

We took painstaking care to honor the 160+ year tradition of the MileAway house.

Working closely with the Stowe Historic Preservation Commission, researching local building practices and connecting with neighbors whose ancestors passed down stories and images of the original property, we were able to pay homage to the fine craftsmanship typical of 1850s construction.

Honoring history & timeless design.
